About the property
Mountain Hall was built in 1902 by John Rosborough and a neighbor as a music hall. Rosborough was professor of music for many years. People would gather for conversation and performances. Updated for comfort and usability, Mountain Hall still retains its unique charm. It features one-of-a-kind lighting and furnishings. The great room is an astounding 40 X 20, two stories tall, and includes an enormous fireplace, multiple couches and chairs, a 10 person handmade wooden dining table, and a loft with hand hewn log railing and small viewing deck. The 40 ft front porch has views toward Long's Peak, and plenty of seating. Kitchen just got a facelift with granite counters and new sink and faucet. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Bed 1 – king, Bed 2 – queen, bed 3 – twin, loft – 2 twins, living room – full sofa bed. One bath on the main floor. Second bath is in the basement with outside access. Gas grill. Three miles to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.

You know you have had a great vacation when you truly don't want to go home. The Mountain Hall was exactly what we wanted - our own private space in a quiet area. The Hall is a beautiful space, very unique and in great shape for its age. The place is 120 years old, so if you are looking for modern amenities, this is not the place for you. The floors creak, a draft comes through the door, there are no curtains on the windows (totally not needed), the water isn't scalding hot. But this place is UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL. We truly felt at one with nature staying here and 100% will stay here again when (not if) we come back to Estes Park.
Mountain Hall is a beautiful place to stay! Full of history, beautiful views, many cozy spots to relax, close to RMNP and Estes. Would definitely stay here again!
